Event:
Summer Daycamp
Date:
Different schedule by every year

Heritage Village Invites children ages *6-13 to participate in the daycamps. It will be a busy week for participants, who will live for a week in the 1800’s. Campers will churn butter, learn to harness a horse, hearth cook, preserve food, spin, weave, write with quill and ink, practice carpentry skills, dip candles, and go fishing. They will do things like their great-grandparents—things like CHORES! Yipes!!. Hold your horses!

It’s not all work and no play! Campers play the same games as their 19th century counterparts and will be treated to period music & dance. Tucked away in lovely Sharon Woods Park, Heritage Village is a unique setting for this exciting hands-on experience for the “19th century” student.

Pre-registration required.
