Heritage Village is the ideal setting to immerse your students in the history of the United States. Fourteen restored 19th century buildings set the stage for fun and exciting learning opportunities your students will remember.
At the Heritage Village, our education programs are developed by certified educators, and have been carefully designed to correspond with state learning standards for each grade level.
Students have the opportunity to handle artifacts for exploration and discovery, and participate in their own learning.
Take your students into history and let them experience what a day was like in the life of their 19th century counterparts. A time when children really had to work.
The Village is situated in a very natural setting of Sharon Woods Park where the student can get a better feel as to sights, smells and social interactions of our past and to be able to relate it to today’s society.
The education programs we offer are sponsored by a grant from the
Charles H Dater Foundation.
