Heritage Village Museum will start the season with Holly Days a two weekend event of 1800’s celebrations. Guests will tour the historic Village and see wonderful decorations in every building, be delighted with the old fashioned tastes of gingerbread, molasses cookies, candy, and bread pudding.
One of the historic houses in the Village will be interpreting Hanukah in the mid 1800’s where guest will taste latkes and other traditional Jewish foods. Music will be playing through out the village and on several occasions local school groups will be singing holiday carols.
In the Village Train Station guests will see the Forest of Christmas Trees, a collection of over 15 trees all decorated by local businesses and friends of the museum. Holly Days will be from 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 1:00 to 5:00 on Sunday. Guests should enter the Village through the Sharon Center. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 children.
